Is servicing your watch really necessary? Even if my watch works perfectly?
ABSOLUTELY YES, servicing a watch every 2/3 years guarantees precision and above all ETERNAL LIFE to your watch.
The watch may also have worked very well for several years (this should be ascertained by checking the chrono-comparator, a professional instrument that detects alternations and oscillations per minute of the mechanism), but you should know that inside the watch, there are various gaskets, these they must be regularly replaced at each overhaul, the mechanism must be lubricated.
You should NOT wait for the clock to stop, because at that point the DAMAGE IS DONE. It will not be enough to overhaul the watch, but some components will probably have to be replaced, which would particularly affect the cost of maintenance.
